PTC Mobile Kiosks

While food is the main attraction, space now plays an indispensable role as companies look to their corporate dining programs to support business goals. 

For example, our clients at PTC wanted to increase the foodservice offering as a post-pandemic amenity. Prior to bringing elite|studio e on board, the only onsite offering was a micromarket. Part of the reason for this is the limited space available for foodservice.  However, our team brought innovative foodservice project solutions to the table and proposed a mobile solution for use in  PTC’s multipurpose room.

elite|studio e’s design team conceptualized three counter style options for PTC and its foodservice operator. From an operational perspective, the flexible design allowed for display cooking and tempered storage. Some of the designs also have a mobile back counter with hot and cold storage for ingredients and shelving for merchandising. The counter body can also store the equipment keeping it out of sight when the multipurpose room is not being used for dining, and allowing the shelves to be used for other purposes during those times.

In addition, the custom designed kiosks showcase the PTC brand utilizing its colors and mimicking the logo in its shape. 

As our design team developed these unique units, they coordinated with the fabricators and our project management team to ensure the constructability. In early 2022, these units were produced and moved to PTC’s Boston offices.
