Company World Headquarters

This company rennovation began in 2019, and was held up due to Covid. In 2023, it restarted with the client's desire to completely renovate it's headquarters. 

Their priority for the cafe was to open up the whole space and transform this 1980s design to a food hall concept featuring a variety of offerings and experiences for employees. 

The initial plan included incorporating seven food concepts into the existing space, but the elite team found that there was not enough room for all of them to operate efficiently. In an ingenious solution, our team placed the grill and deli stations in the back of house area, creating space needed out front for the other stations. This resolution allowed for all the requested food options without compromising the final layout and total square footage alloted.

Embracing the desire for a food hall experience, the company placed a high emphasis on forward-facing food. Our team specified two forward facing grills and an open pizza oven to allow the consumer to see a variety of fresh food being prepared.

A unique aspect of this project were the skylights in the original room. We decided to incorporate them into the food area design to let in more natural light. The company also wanted to keep their current exhaust system, so our team had to specify a particular hood that fit well without having to replace everything else.

The dining area, which serves as a multipurpose space, also underwent renovations. In order to accomodate the company's town hall meetings, to close off the seating area elite | studio e and the architect coordinated within the original concrete structure, to incorporate skyfold dividers that extend down from the ceiling to seal off the necessary space.

Since elite | studio e's inception 25 years ago, we have had the opportunity to design and build projects for this client. This includes a lobby barista bar at it's world headquarters, and various projects across the United States.
