When California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, CA, chose to create a new cafeteria and renovate their existing catering facility, elite | studio e was called on to provide expertise. Our team oversaw the architecture and engineering, time management, design team coordination, construction team coordination, installation of temporary service and guided them through special conditions. From fitting a double stroller through walkways to guiding an exhibit of whale through temp service, our team was on hand to work with the team at the Academy. In addition, this facility remained open seven days a week while going through construction. And our LEED accredited staff was able to guide the process for the country’s first ever LEED Double Platinum certified museum and the largest bulding to ever receive this nod as well.
