Weston Middle School

elite | studio e was challenged with updating this middle school cafeteria from an aesthetic and operational standpoint. To work within the budget provided, our team proposed refreshing the space and leaving the existing floor tile, as well as replacing all of the equipment. 

 

When our Interior Designer selected the new finishes materials, the goal was to brighten up the space. The counterfronts were replaced with a gray wash wood laminate and adorned with a new Quartz tray rail. To pick up the floor tile, the walls painted in a light blue. In addition, per the client’s request, the cafeteria furniture was replaced and the addition of digital signage provided modern conveniences for the operator and students.

 

From an equipment perspective, the goal was to improve speed of service and create better tasting food. In addition, our team proposed the installation of flex pans that can be used for hot and cold food to provide menu flexible and increase the options available.

 

From concept to completion, the elite|studio e team was involved in the transformation of the Weston Middle School cafeteria.
